The Signature Optica Series SIGA-OSD smoke detector brings advanced optical sensing technology to a practical design that increases efficiency, saves installation time, cuts costs, and extends life-safety and property-protection capabilities. Continuous self-diagnostics ensure reliability over the long haul, while environmental compensation helps reduce maintenance costs.

SIGA-CC1/MCC1 Single Input Signal Modules and SIGA-CC2/ MCC2 Dual Input Signal Modules are part of EDWARDS's Signature Series system. They are intelligent analog addressable devices used for connecting, upon command from the loop controller, supervised Class B signal or telephone circuits to their respective power inputs. The power inputs may be polarized 24 Vdc to operate audible and visible signal appliances or 25 and 70 VRMS to operate audio evacuation speakers and firefighter’s telephones. The actual operation of the SIGA-CC1/MCC1 and SIGA-CC2/ MCC2 is determined by the “personality code” selected by the installer. It is downloaded to the module from the Signature loop controller during system configuration.

All types can be either presignal or general alarm and are available with single or double pole alarm contacts which can be normally open, normally closed or a combination of both. Either a key or tool (depending on station selected) is required to reset mechanism. See specification chart for specific catalog numbers and features. For semi flush mounting use a standard North-American four inch square box with a single gang plaster cover having an overall minimum depth of 2-1/4 inch (57mm). For surface mounting use a Cat. No. 276B-RSB surface back box.

Dual Input Module. Two circuit input module for use with Normally Open Contact devices. Four selectable personality codes (on each circuit) for Alarm latching, or Alarm Delayed latching, or non-latching monitor or latching supervisory.

The SIGA-SB is the standard base for Signature Series detectors. It connects the detector to the signaling line circuit (SLC), and provides wiring terminals for connection to a SIGA-LED.
